Regardless of whether they are working with law enforcement or if placed as protection dogs in a family’s home, we make sure they are in a happy, healthy, loving environment. Derks vom Glücklichen Tal

Derks vom Glücklichen Tal now has a happy home at the award-winning Cornerstone Ranch, an Arabian horse farm in Alabama. Derk’s outstanding temperament and disposition makes him a hit with everyone at the barn. Derks, though loving and friendly, also understands his job as a protector and guardian at Cornerstone Ranch. Ms. Holden has provided him with a wonderful loving home.


Cliff vom Flutgraben

Cliff was imported from Germany at 8 weeks of age and imprinted by Happy Valley Kennel. Kathy, from Murfreesboro, TN, wanted not only a personal protection dog but a competition dog as well.
Cliff has achieved great success by earning his SchH 1 title with scores of 97-88-99. Cliff and Kathy are bound for future success. Cliff has not only been a terrific competition dog, but he has been the perfect fit for her family that includes
not only children but multiple German Shepherds and cats.


Casha vom Flutgraben

Casha vom Flutgraben is fulfilling Bonnie’s dreams of owning a female Schutzhund German Shepherd. After returning from a trip to Germany with Krista, Bonnie decided she wanted to participate in the sport of Schutzhund. Casha and Bonnie were a perfect match.
Casha is a full sister to Cliff vom Flutgraben who was also imported at the same time as Cliff at 8 weeks of age. Krista and Happy Valley Kennel imprinted Casha on the basics of Schutzhund. Bonnie has continued to build on the foundation that Happy Valley Kennel laid. We look forward to Casha and Bonnie earning their SchH1 title in the very near future. There are plans to breed in the future as well.


Cazan vom Flutgraben

Cazan vom Flutgraben, litter mate to Cliff and Casha vom Flutgraben, was also imported from Germany. Cazan serves as a dual-purpose K-9 for the Williamson County Sheriffs Department in Tennessee. Cazan and his handler have been very successful! We appreciate all that Deputy Roberts and Cazan do to help protect and serve our community.


Dante vom Glücklichen Tal

Dante vom Glücklichen Tal was selected by a family in Marietta, Georgia based on his family-friendly temperament and working ability. He has been a constant loving companion for this family. Dante enjoys hanging out with the children or playing ball. He has been a wonderful addition to their family.


Quiarra von Aurelius

Quiarra von Aurelius, a beautiful black and tan female imported from Germany, is now residing in Franklin, TN. The Davis’s desire to add another female German Shepherd to their family brought them back to Happy Valley Kennel. They needed assistance in locating a German Shepherd that would get along with their existing black female shepherd previously acquired with the help of Happy Valley Kennel. Mr. Davis was looking for a Schutzhund prospect and Mrs. Davis wanted a companion dog. Quiarra fit the bill for both of the Davis’s needs.
Quiarra is currently working on her SchH 1 under Coach Krista Wade’s direction, in addition to, accompanying Mrs. Davis while she trains for marathon competitions. Quiarra, sired by Bodo vom Flutgraben, produced a beautiful litter of puppies and we look forward to a litter in the near future.


Mia von der Baiertalerstrabe

Imported from Germany, Mia von der Baiertalerstrabe is a gorgeous black and red female German Shepherd. The Baer’s needed a personal protection/companion family dog for times that Mr. Baer is deployed overseas by the United States Military. Mia is a vital part of their family composition. We are proud to be able to provide this family who serves our country with a German Shepherd that provides them the security, love and loyalty they desire and deserve.

Ingrid vom Villa Vanner is a wonderful sable female who lives in Smyrna, TN. Katie and Kyle were searching for a family companion German Shepherd and fell in love with Ingrid. Ingrid has a loving active home.


Wölfrick vom Glücklichen Tal

Wölfrick vom Glücklichen Tal resides in Bell Buckle, TN where he is a wonderful family companion dog for the Anderson family. It is not uncommon to see Wölfrick strolling the streets with the family during the Webb School craft fair held each October. Wölfrick has been ideal for the Anderson’s three active boys. So don’t be surprised if you happen to see a big beautiful sable German Shepherd walking beside a family pushing a baby carriage the next time you visit the Bell Buckle Café.

Flip vom Murrtal enjoys the warm weather and sunny skies in Florida. The Undieme family of Florida, contacted Happy Valley Kennel searching for a German Shepherd that would provide them the security and personal protection they needed after their home security was threatened.
Happy Valley Kennel imported Flip and customized a training program to fit the needs of the Undieme’s. The arrival of Flip has brought them the security they desired and an end to compromising situations.

Easton vom Glücklichen Tal

Easton vom Glücklichen Tal is a beautiful dark red sable with an amazing personality and loving temperament. She has made the Clanton family a terrific indoor, family companion and farm German Shepherd.
Happy Valley Kennel started Easton’s formal obedience training by imprinting the correct obedience behavior for her to potentially fulfill many different rolls. The Clanton’s are eager to continue Easton’s training. Their youngest son plans on participating in the Bedford County 4-H dog project, a project that as a county volunteer Krista Wade founded in 2000 for the Bedford County 4-H program.

Mrs. Roye a very accomplished AKC obedience competitor, AKC judge, and a highly decorated SAR trainer and handler was looking for a German Shepherd that was capable of working in many different disciplines. Mrs. Roye wanted a German Shepherd capable of becoming a Schutzhund dog, with the ability to obtain high obedience scores, while being able to compete in herding, as well as, successfully certifying in SAR. Finding a female German Shepherd that would excel in so many different areas is not easy.
Krista Wade choose Addie as the pick female from Casha’s litter for Mrs. Roye. Addie has not only fulfilled but has exceeded every expectation that Mrs. Roye has had. We are anxious to see all that this Berlin female will accomplish in the future in all the disciplines that she will be participating in.

Havoc vom Glücklichen Tal lives on the MW Angus farm in Bell Buckle, TN. Dr. Robert West DMV, owner of Cascade Veterinary Hospital and his wife made the decision to add a German Shepherd to their family and farm for personal protection and as a family companion. Havoc has quickly adapted, willingly hanging out with the family in the house or out at the barn with the horses and cows. Her sound temperament and disposition make it easy for her to adjust to whatever situation she is in whether it’s at the office, at the clinic, in the house while homework is being done, out in the barn when feeding
the horse and cows or out with the kids playing in the yard.
Happy Valley Kennel has customized a training program that is designed to meet all of Mrs. West’s needs. It is Mrs. West’s goal to train Havoc in advanced obedience as well as protection. With the help of Happy Valley Kennel, Havoc is preparing for her BH and Schutzhund titles. We appreciate Dr. West and Cascade Veterinary Hospital for all that they do to ensure great health care for all our German Shepherds at Happy Valley Kennel. We are proud to be able to provide Dr.West and his family with a German Shepherd that meets all their expectations.

Mrs. Rookey, a native of Germany and her husband, retired from the Air Force, came to Happy Valley Kennel in search of a male German Shepherd to be a companion as well as replace the void left behind by the passing of their older German Shepherd. The Rooke’s were searching for a German German Shepherd. They found exactly what they were looking for when they saw Sybill and Berlin. Having lived in Germany they knew exactly what they were looking for. Hando, though an active puppy, has made a wonderful indoor dog that has a large yard to run in. Like any good German Shepherd, Hando is aware of his surroundings yet is loving and affectionate. He enjoys riding along wherever the Rookey’s might go. Happy Valley Kennel has designed a training program for Hando and the Rookey’s.

Ginger vom Glücklichen Tal is the perfect fit for the Jake LaGrone family, manger of the Award Winning Country Music Vocal Group Rascal Flatts. The LaGrone’s, who live in Brentwood, TN, already had two other dogs but wanted a companion German Shepherd. Ginger has had no trouble adapting to her new home. She enjoys playing football with the boys or just hanging out while the children play video games.
In addition to being a companion dog, Ginger will be starting scent detection work in the near future. Happy Valley Kennel looks forward to working with Ginger and the LaGrones in this training project.

Mr. Strain sought out Happy Valley Kennel’s training program to help him educate and train his young male German Shepherd. Impressed by Berlin’s accomplishments, training, temperament and disposition, Mr. Strain decided to purchase a female Berlin puppy he named Kasai. Kasai possesses her sire Berlin’s wonderful temperament and disposition and is a companion not only to Mr. Strain but to his male German Shepherd as well.

Dr. Richard and Dr. Rebekah Land, of Franklin, TN, sought out Happy Valley Kennel upon the recommendation of a friend. The Land’s demanding schedule made it nearly impossible for them to raise a puppy. Drigon, a trained young adult German Shepherd suited their lifestyle and situation.
Drigon was imported from Germany along with his litter mates Dasha and Drago by Happy Valley Kennel. Our training program at Happy Valley Kennel taught Drigon the skills necessary for him to fulfill his new role in the Land’s home. Krista has continued to work with the Lands in advanced obedience and Schutzhund. We look forward to Drigon and the Land’s earning their Schutzhund titles in the future.

Happy Valley Kennel imported Drago vom Flutgraben along with his litter mates Drigon and Dasha when they were 8 weeks old from Büdigen, Germany. Cousins to Bodo vom Flutgraben, the 2-time GSDCA-WDA National Champion, Drago is a beautiful black and tan male German Shepherd.
Mr. Lawrence, a Lieutenant with the Franklin City Police Dept., found in Drago the family companion the kids wanted and the obedience trained personal protection dog that he and Mrs. Lawrence were seeking. Drago is comfortable filling either role. Drago has a wonderful loving home.


Adena vom Glücklichen Tal

Jim and his three children live in Shelbyville, TN and provide Adena with a tremendous home. Jim’s dream of owning a German Shepherd seemed as thought it would never materialize with his demanding work schedule and three very active children until he meet Adena.
Adena, who was raised with children, is the daughter of Happy Valley Kennel’s beloved “Sting”. The training Adena received at Happy Valley Kennel allowed her to step right into their lives instantly becoming a member of their family. Happy Valley Kennel is proud to be able to help make Jim’s dream of owning a German Shepherd become a reality.

Searching for a Search & Rescue prospect, Mr. Smith came to Happy Valley Kennel upon the recommendation of Vicki Roye. Mr. Smith found that Elke possessed the hunt drive, temperament and disposition he desired in a Search & Rescue dog. Mr. Smith and Elke have been working hard training for their future certifications. We look forward to Elke’s great success in SAR.
